Mike Summers

OL Skill Development Coach

After a playing career as a Defensive Back at Georgetown College, Mike Summers coached at the highest levels of College and Professional Football for 39 years. He developed a reputation in his career as one of the top Offensive Line coaches in the nation, as well as spending time as an Offensive Coordinator for the #1 rushing team in college football while at Northern Illinois in 1990.

Summers was a part of 12 teams reaching a Bowl game, most notably a 2007 Orange Bowl victory. He also made appearances in two conference championship games while at Florida. His elite efforts were recognized when he received a nomination for the award going to the top College Football Assistant Coach in 2012. His track record as a developer of talent was also second to none, as he coached 41 Offensive Lineman who went on to spend time at the highest level of Professional Football.
